See the Light You Carry: Aura Photography at the 2026 Bend Yoga Festival

Every person walks through the world surrounded by an energetic imprint — a living field of color, movement, and emotion that reflects what’s happening in the body, mind, and heart. Some traditions call it a biofield. Others call it a subtle energy body. Most of us simply know it as our aura.

At the 2026 Bend Yoga Festival this June, you’ll have the chance to actually see yours.

Aura photography uses a special biofeedback camera that translates tiny shifts in electrical impulses — the kind we naturally emit — into a spectrum of color around the body. The moment you sit for a portrait, that camera captures a visual map of your internal landscape: the hues of your mood, the patterns of your stress or creativity, and the brightness of your vitality.

A snapshot of your energetic self

Your aura isn’t static. Think of it like weather for your inner world — shifting as you grow, heal, rest, push, connect, and breathe. Aura imaging reveals those shifts, offering:

  • Insight into emotional patterns

  • Clarity around where you’re holding tension or power

  • Affirmation of strengths you already feel but can’t see

  • A catalyst for reflection, healing, or celebration

During your session, the practitioner will guide you through what each color and placement means — from fiery reds of strong life-force energy to deep indigos of intuition, to radiant gold when you’re tapped into confidence and purpose.

Why it fits beautifully with our yoga festival’s mission — yoga + healing

Yoga teaches us to sense alignment from the inside out. Aura photography lets you mirror that awareness visually.

Some people discover that their radiant heart-energy shows up as a vivid green. Others notice softer pastels during a time of transition or integration. Sometimes the colors surprise us and shake loose old stories about who we think we are.

This is less about fortune-telling and more about making the invisible visible — a moment of connection with yourself.

A take-home reminder of your inner light

Every portrait becomes a keepsake: a reminder that your energy matters, that your presence has color and texture and impact. Many people tuck their aura print into a journal, display it on a home altar, or revisit the colors months later and notice what’s changed.

Because everything changes. And that’s beautiful.

We’re thrilled to host Rach, from Pine and Prism Wellness Collective, who brings a compassionate, curiosity-driven approach to energy photography and interpretation. Sessions are limited and tend to fill quickly — so keep an eye on our schedule drop this spring to claim your spot.

Come see the light you bring into the world.
