How to Fest 2026

Thursday - Sunday, June 11–14, 2026

  • Official Festival Kick-Off begins at 1pm Thursday! (Soft open starts at 10am, with sessions at the Oxford and Pine & Prism (which is easy to find, across the street from the hotel).

  • Goody bags! We’re excited to offer these as complimentary to our 4-day passholders. All others may purchase a BYF 2026 bag at the BYF booth at Drake Park on Saturday.

    • 4-day passholders will get their goody bags on Thursday at their first afternoon session.

  • ALL SESSIONS START ON TIME. Add-on sessions do not wait for latecomers. Please plan your transportation and route beforehand and allow extra time to ensure you arrive early.

Where are the venues?

All yoga venues are downtown and easy to reach on foot, including The Oxford, Pine & Prism, The Commons (where we’ll meet before walking together to Kia’s sunrise session), and the stage at Drake Park. The stage at Drake Park is a lovely 8-minute paved riverside walk from The Commons.

Transportation & Parking

  • There’s a large parking structure next to the Oxford; $10 per day. If you must drive, this is recommended.

  • Downtown Bend also has:

    • metered and time‑limited parking next to The Commons (app required)

    • very limited free street parking is available in downtown for 2 hours at a time, but the time limit is strictly enforced

  • If you’re staying downtown, walk. Biking is also an option.

  • If you must drive to Drake Park, expect limited parking along Riverside Boulevard; the stage area is at the intersection of Kansas and Riverside, and early in the morning there are a handful of spots there along Riverside Blvd. Better still, park in the paid lot at the Commons then walk to the stage (8 minutes) – parking near The Commons requires a cell phone and downloaded app (instructions there). Best option: walk, bike, or rideshare.

Managing & Changing your Schedule

  • The session descriptions in Sched — your personal schedule — contain all the information you need to arrive at your sessions on time and ready for what’s ahead. Access all session information there.

  • Arrive at the festival with your schedule planned — capacity is limited for all sessions. Pre‑registration in Sched is required.

  • Enable Daily Email Reminders in Sched and/or sync your schedule to your digital calendar; you can also print your personal schedule if you prefer

  • Session pages in Sched include start/end times, locations, maps, and what to bring—use those as your single source of truth day‑to‑day

  • Last minute changes to the schedule, while rare, do happen, but not within 3 days of the start of the festival. Double check your schedule for changes on June 8th.

  • You can change your session choices as much as you’d like, subject to session availability. If you drop from a full session, you may not be able to get back in.

Waitlists

  • If you’re waitlisted for a session, Sched will automatically add and notify you if space becomes available. Do not attempt to attend sessions for which you have NOT been added.

Check-in & Help

  • Check‑in occurs at each session (pink, blue & yellow coded). There is no festival-wide centralized check-in needed.

  • For larger sessions, be prepared to wait in line while volunteers check-in each attendee.

  • GETTING HELP: Festival volunteers wear lanyards and are available for directions, questions, or support. Look for the lanyard and ask away!

What to Pack

  • Yoga basics: mat, towel, layers you can add/remove, and any favorite props (strap/block)

  • Refillable water bottle (we strive are a no single-use-plastics event)

  • Your own mug for cacao and coffee chat sessions

  • Sun protection: hat, SPF sunscreen, sunglasses, SPF-protective clothing

  • Hydration, food & snacks: downtown has great cafes near every venue, but a small snack and electrolytes help between sessions.

For Add‑ons: Refer to the session description in Sched for a complete list of what you need for your add-on sessions, and/or to emails from your guides.

Going into the River? Water shoes are essential for comfort; watertight storage you can bring along with you is recommended. Don’t bring anything on the river that you’re not prepared to lose!

Bend Basics

  • Our weather is variable. We gratefully accept whatever Mother Nature gives us and come prepared for all possibilities. We invite you to do the same!

  • June temperatures can swing up to 40 degrees from morning to night.

  • Layers are essential and check the forecast daily to see what’s needed. Wind can pick up by the river.

  • Altitude is ~3,600–3,700 ft and is considered “high altitude.” Hydrate, go easy on caffeine/alcohol, and pace yourself if you require acclimation

  • Sun at altitude is strong—reapply SPF and wear a hat for outdoor sessions.

  • RAIN: In the unlikely event of light showers during a session outdoors, the session will take place rain or shine.Tenting at Drake Park is not guaranteed due to permit restrictions. In the event of heavy rain, Drake Park sessions may be cancelled without rescheduling.

Accessibility & Comfort

Downtown sidewalks and the Drake Park paved trail make venue‑to‑venue walking straightforward; some outdoor areas are on grass.

Indoor venues have restrooms and water; outdoor sessions have nearby facilities (except for guided adventure tours)—check each session’s Sched description.

Etiquette

  • Arrive early, silence devices — notice all the beautiful souls around you!

  • Place your mat where volunteers direct you when sessions are full.

  • Respect capacity: if a session is full in Sched, choose another option rather than trying to drop in. (Buy your passes early for priority session selection.)

  • Leave no trace in outdoor spaces—pack out trash, protect riverbanks. Wherever you are outdoors, stay on-trail unless directed by your professional guide.

  • Absolutely no dogs or other pets.

  • All attendees require a pass.

  • Please do not bring young children. Teen passes are available for those 13+; inquire at hello@bendyogafestival.com.

Food

There are no food trucks at this event and food is not provided. There are many options downtown, or pack food and snacks.

No refunds are given for any reason whatsover; passes can be applied to any following year. Presenter lineup and special events may evolve; rely on Sched for the latest.

Safety & Support

Monitoring your wellbeing during our event is your responsibility, because we cannot possibly know what’s right for you. If you feel unwell, rest and seek assistance from qualified medical providers. Know and respect your limits.

Lost & Found

Found items can be given to any volunteer. If you’re seeking something you’ve lost, email hello@bendyogafestival with a detailed description of the item. Please do not DM on social media for lost items; DMs are not monitoried during the event.

Leave valuables at home; it’s a good idea not to bring anything you’re not prepared to lose.

REMEMBER:

RELAX. Take your time. Notice the beauty and joy all around you, waiting for you. Allow this to be a special way to make space for more goodness.
