  • Allie Lyon

    Allie is an abstract artist and teacher of yoga nidra, meditation, and yoga. Allie invites students to explore the integration between art and meditation. We can use these healing modalities to illuminate the unique wisdom of the inner landscape: inviting more clarity, compassion and understanding to ourselves and the world.

    As an artist, she’s thrilled to be bringing to the fest sessions that integrate creativity with yoga. She’s trains teachers through The Yoga Space’s YTTs, in Portland, leads retreats throughout the world, and is a returning presenter at the BYF.

  • Ananda Das

    "Ananda Das is an internationally acclaimed musician who's music is a catalyst for healing hearts, inspiring joy and devotion. His music blends kirtan and devotional melodies that appeals to yoga practitioners. He also offers sweet soulful ballads, upbeat rock and reggae songs that are fun to dance and sing to.

    Since 2011 he produced 14 albums and toured internationally in the duo Jaya Lakshmi and Ananda. He also released two solo albums that many consider his greatest hits, Flower of Life (2018) and Flow Like the River (2021).

    He is also the founder of the Modern Bhakti Yoga Academy, a platform with courses to support people in opening their voices, learning how to lead kirtan and deepen on the devotional path from the yogic perspective.

  • Annie Carpenter

    Annie Carpenter, the creator of SmartFLOW Yoga, is an international yoga teacher based in Northern California. Known as a “teacher’s teacher” she has created a well-respected system of yoga practice and teaching methodology. Annie’s playful personality and focused intelligence brings depth, clarity and exuberance to her classes.

    A committed student of Yoga for over 40 years now, Annie continues to bring her passion and curiosity, love of anatomy, evolutionary movement, meditation and classical philosophy into her teachings.

    She is grateful to all of her teachers over the years, including Swami Satchidananda, Maty Ezraty, Chuck Miller, Lisa Walford, Pattabhi Jois, Trudy Goodman and many others.

  • Ashley Lorenzo

    Ashley Lorenzo is a Georgia-based yoga teacher and global retreat leader. Her yoga classes combine both the physical and spiritual aspects of the yoga tradition. She employs a mix of alignment-based asana, meditation and breath work to cultivate greater awareness in the physical body and beyond.

    Always a student of the practice, Ashley’s teaches yoga to share what she knows and believes to work. The physical practice is just an entry point to the ancient teachings of yoga, but it helps us to remember that our actions, thoughts and the way we show up in the world matters. She’s also the creator behind @twopetalsapothecary.

  • Becky Nickerson

    Becky completed her 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification at the Himalayan Institute with teachers Rolf Sovik PsyD., Sandra Anderson, Shari Friedrichson, and Pandit Rajmani Tigunait PhD. Since Becky finished her first Power Vinyasa Yoga Certification at Green Monkey on Miami Beach, Becky has taught thousands of yoga classes, ten teacher trainings, countless workshops, and founded Infinity Yoga which grew to four locations in Atlanta, GA. After having two baby girls, Becky and her husband decided to slow down, sell the yoga studios, and move to Bend. She continues her studies with teachers: Tiffany Cruikshank and Rod Stryker.

    When Becky is not on the mat you can find her chasing toddlers, cooking southern comfort food, adventure racing, or cuddling with the family’s two.

  • Claudette Evans

    Claudette is passionate about the study and practice of yoga, as well as the training and mentoring of its teachers.

    Claudette is grateful for the many teachers she’s studied with over the years, particularly her early Sanskrit education with Vyaas Houston’s American Sanskrit Institute (ASI), where she was a teacher for the past decade. Today, her main teachers are Shantala Sriramaiah, Dr. Varun Khanna, and Dr. Douglas Brooks. Claudette shares the beauty of Sanskrit, Yoga Philosophy, and the Veda in weekly classes, workshops, and yoga teacher training programs throughout the Pacific Northwest and online.

    Deven Sisler

    Deven is an internationally renowned yoga teacher known for her playful, philosophical approach to yoga, partner yoga, and AcroYoga. She has been teaching children, families, and adults since 2005 in New York City, and has been a frequent presenter at yoga festivals around the world including Wanderlust and the Telluride Yoga Festival. She offers inspirational Kids Yoga & Family AcroYoga Teacher Trainings through her website and in-studio. When she’s not teaching students how to get safely upside down, you can find her exploring the beauty of central Oregon with her husband and two young sons.

  • Emily Wolbers, ND

    QC Natural Health

    Emily is inspired by all things Health. She is a naturopathic doctor and has been teaching yoga since 2013. She completed her initial Yoga Teacher Training at The White Lotus Foundation and continued on to take Advanced Teacher Training with Jason Crandell. Her personal practice is inspired by the philosophy, spirituality, and accessibility of yoga.

    She has a vinyasa-based teaching style that encourages introspection, mindfulness, and meeting your body where it’s at in each moment. Each class focuses on grounding, strength, compassion, and breath awareness.

  • Ian LeMasters

    Ian LeMasters

    Ian LeMasters (he/him) is a yoga and acroyoga teacher based out of Portland, Oregon. A 500hr E-RYT and continued education provider, Ian has been teaching for the past decade offering class styles of vinyasa, ashtanga-vinyasa, acroyoga and handstand training classes. In addition to teaching, he is also a sports massage therapist and studies the art of handbalancing as a student through the San Diego circus center. In all of his classes, Ian is passionate about sharing alignment and technique to show that the practice of yoga is for everyone.

    Ian’s a repeat presenter at Yoga Expo LA, Yoga Expo Portland, and the Bend Yoga Festival.

    Kali Basman

    Internationally celebrated Dharma teacher of teachers, Kali Basman, blends Buddhist Psychology with mindful based Yin & Restorative Yoga.

    Kali’s work intermingles the outer constructs of anatomy & Traditional Chinese Medicine with the inner methods of mind training and trauma healing. She is certified and celebrated in her work with Internal Family Systems Therapy. Outside of practice life, Kali holds an MPH in Environmental Public Health and serves as a Project Director for the United Nations Association Global Health Initiative on the Africa Affairs Committee. She has been working with the UN as a Global Health consultant for over 5 years.

  • Kavita Kat MacMillan

    Kavita Kat Macmillan is a devotional musician and transformational creative guide who brings over 20 years of teaching, sharing kirtan & study of Naad (sound) yoga & Hindustani vocal practice to her classes and offerings.

    Through her musical offerings & workshops Kavita gently supports students as they let go of patterns that get in the way of artistic expression & singing. Kavita's music project, ’Open Heart Kirtan' presents traditional mantras in original compositions with Western and Indian influences.

    Kavita facilitates at retreats, workshops, private & group classes & spiritual festivals internationally and is an open, supportive guide for those who wish to explore this path. Her most recent album ‘The Beloved Lives Inside’ was released in April 2021.

  • Libby Cox

    L​ibby Cox, E-RYT 500, TIYT, R-PYT, YACEP, is a mother of twin boys, an educator and a dedicated student of the body. With degrees in art, dance and education, a 20-year yoga practice, and a penchant for storytelling, Libby's teaching approach is passionate, compassionate, and witty. Teaching yoga since 2004, Libby has served on faculty in yoga teacher training programs in the USA and abroad since 2010. Most notable are Libby's studies with Patty Townsend, Judith Lasater, and Douglas Brooks. Years of study have sustained Libby's long time love of connecting an exploration of mind and breath to well-informed, creative, somatic movement. She loves the support that grows from practicing in community, and she believes that yoga is a philosophy that nourishes the capacity for resilience, both individually and collectively.

    Libby is the director of Two Birds Yoga Training, based in Eugene, Oregon. She is also a co-owner of Balanced Hot Yoga, and leads international yoga retreats with One Yoga Global.

    Yoga always invites me home; home to my body, my breath, and the moment. My intention is to bring a felt experience of coming home to others - on the mat and in life. My offerings are relevant and practical, while including wisdom teachings, subtle body awareness, energetics, and pranayama. I believe in our collective consciousness and universal heart and tap into both to teach and guide. I am also drawn to levity and absurdity, as laughter is real good medicine.

    Paddle Board Oregon

    Lori is an experienced certified SUP guide/outfitter and instructor and the founder/owner of Paddle Board Oregon. She has spent much of her life in//on the water. She divides her time between Bend and Hawaii, residing part-time on a sailboat, sailing and SUPing off the shores of Oahu. Lori’s company offers a variety of SUP adventures including lessons, kids camps, rentals and PaddleIntoFitness/WPA certified SUP Yoga/Fitness classes, Lake Day Paddle excursions, Sunset and Star Gazing Paddle Adventures here in Bend.

    Mindy (they/them) is a Nature and Forest Therapy Guide certified by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy. Practicing mindfulness in nature has been integral to their own healing journey, and experiencing firsthand the benefits of a forest bathing practice inspired them to become a guide and help others. Whether you are seeking healing, simple moments of peace away from the business of daily life, or guidance on building a deeper connection with nature, they would be honored to hold that space for you on a guided forest bathing walk.

  • Petit Davina

    If you live in Central Oregon, you know Petit. Her classes are a moving combination of flow, conscious movement, and heartfelt connection. In addition to teaching yoga full-time, she leads retreats and pursues adventures around the world. One of Petit’s many superpowers is conscious connection, and her exuberant Conscious Dance sessions are legendary. Ask her about her Everest climb – quite a story there!

    Rebecca was a co-founder/owner of The Yoga Lab in Bend Oregon and has more than 25 years of teaching experience. She has been leading 200-hour yoga teacher trainings for more than 10 years, leads intensives, workshops series, immersions and international Yoga Retreats and has recently launched Ruby Rides Bikes, a Women's Mountain Biking and Yoga retreat.     Robert Sturman

    A dedicated yoga practitioner, photographer Robert Sturman has increasingly focused on capturing the timeless grace and embodied mindfulness of Asana in his work.

    His portraits, whether set in the lively streets of Manhattan, the expansive beaches and canyons of the California coast, the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, the timeless elegance of Walden's New England, or the bleakness of San Quentin Prison, remind us that there is beauty everywhere.

    Sturman's honors include Official Artist of the 47th Annual GRAMMY Awards, 2010 FIFA World Cup Artist Representing America, and Official Artist 2008 United States Olympics.

    Sianna Sherman

    Sianna (she/her), is committed to being Love-In-Action here on earth to serve. For nearly three decades, she has been an international yoga teacher, training tens of thousands of students and yoga teachers from around the globe.

    As the visionary of the Rasa Yoga Collective, Mythic Yoga Flow®, and RITUAL, Sianna shares her voice in the way of community and collaboration. She is a gifted storyteller and awakens the imagination through the language of the soul. Sianna is an apprentice of shadow work and weaves this into every offering.

    Deven & Susan have been teaching AcroYoga together since 2005 in NYC and are elated to be neighbors raising their families in Bend, Or. They love being a part of the yoga and AcroYoga community in the PNW and continue to be inspired to teach.

    Vince considers himself a bit of a dark horse in the yoga community. His style and approach to teaching is lighthearted yet technical. His transitions and sequences emphasize embracing an individual’s ability as he creates flows and meets people where they are at, both mentally and physically. His ultimate goal is to empower practitioners to appreciate where they are at and to use the practice of yoga to enhance their quality of life, so they can do the things they love longer.

  • Yvonne Kingsley

    Known for her clear articulation and calming demeanor, Yvonne’s classes are built around intelligent sequencing that brings intimate attention to both physical alignment and subtle body awareness. With thoughtful instruction and holding quiet space, she invites students to tune into their body and mind with curiosity and openness.

    Yvonne’s journey into teaching yoga has been an unexpected adventure. After leaving a marriage and decade-long career in advertising, Yvonne set off to India for a teacher training that would change the course of her life. She completed her first advanced training with Kia Miller, diving deep into pranayama, kriya, mantra and meditation. She also studied extensively with Jason Crandell, enriching her nerdy appreciation for functional alignment, anatomy and smart sequencing.
