New for 2026: ‘Pay What You Can’ Pricing

We want safe, joyful. healing spaces to be accessible to more people—full stop. For 2026, the Bend Yoga Festival’s 2-Day and 3-Day festival passes are offered with pay-what-you-can pricing. It’s our response to growing wealth disparity, a business environment that feels a little too extractive, and a wellness culture that can feel a bit too exclusive. (VIP add-on passes at yoga festivals? No, thanks.) It can be scary as a small business to go to all-in on flexible pricing; there are real fears. But in today’s climate, we’ve decided to double-down on our community-based values.

And it’s simple: Choose the price you can pay honestly — no guilt, no hoops.

How ‘pay what you can’ works

For each pass, you’ll see two price points. You simply choose the one that’s right for you right now.

  • 3-Day Pass: $315 or $425

  • 2-Day Pass: $199 or $275

No discount codes. No applications. No explanations required.

Why we’re offering this

Yoga festivals are at their best when they’re shared—across experience levels, backgrounds, and life circumstances. But fixed pricing can quietly exclude people, even when the intention is otherwise.

Pay-what-you-can pricing allows us to hold both realities at once:

  • The festival has real costs (venues, presenters, permits, staff, infrastructure).

  • People’s financial situations vary widely, and not permanently.

Those who are able to pay at the higher level help sustain the festival and make access possible for others. Those who need the lower price are welcomed without question.

A note on choosing honestly

The invitation is simply to choose the price that you can pay without strain but without adding to your karmic burden.

  • An easy way to think about it: if you own a home, take a vacation regularly without stress, and have steady employment, the higher tier is your best option — both for the festival community and your own karmic burden.

  • If you’re in shared housing, take vacations only with financial strain, have to delay payments here or there, and have less stable or low-wage work, the lower priced tier is for you.

This is inspired by the community at Yoga Shala Seattle, which started as a ‘pay what you can’ studio several years ago. Their founder shared with us they had students who couldn’t pay at all, who are now steady enough financially that they pay monthly memberships. And the Shala has grown and thrives, along with their members.

What’s next

The 2026 festival schedule will be released on February 28, 2026, at which point passholders can begin planning their sessions and days. In the meantime, be sure to book your lodging — and consider the great discounts from the Oxford Hotel and the Wall Street Suites. Book from our website for best rates.

If this pricing model makes it possible for you to attend—or easier for you to say yes—we’re glad. And if paying at the higher tier is within reach for you, thank you for helping make this a more sustainable and community-minded gathering.

We look forward to practicing together.
